See the sun as it sets behind the night
And I watch all the doors close as I ride towards the light
Feel my gun in its holster by my side
Concealed from the laws eyes
Since they took away my rights
And I'll keep riding outlaw
Just to protect your honour
Thunder flashes in the rain
Now I see more than shadows
I send off a warning shot into the darkness
And let them know that death is here
See the scars on your hands from that dark night
The fear behind your eyes as you pleaded for life
Your skin soft but his heart was hard and cold
Yours was pacing like a colt
While mines slowly broke
See the smoke flash as ride up
His body on the floor and the wall
flowers of blood
His friends are running
As your laughing and gunning
In the mud
I think I'm in love
You're no longer defenseless
He's got a hole where his head is
...or was.
I can't pretend this
Isn't the most beautiful thing I've seen
I'll just watch you outlaw
As you end these fuckers
Your gun flashes in the rain
Oh what a perfect lover
I guess that you didn't need me as your saviour
I'll just let you finish here

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo

For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space. frankwurst
